This Week’s Doswell Pet of the Month

“Soupy” is an unidentified mongrel breed brought into the Hanover SPCA almost a month ago. His coat is like wiry feathers, and he screams instead of barks. He bites, stings and scratches. The SPCA tried to put him down but he bounced back. He has scabies, mange, heartworms, bloodworms, tapeworms, whipworms, bear baiter’s bowel, Magyar-Yellowlegs syndrome, ear stirrup infestation, chronic larval rash, exploding pancreatitis and has not urinated since we got him. Please come take this dog, or whatever the hell he or she is. Our staff is cornered and can't get out to their cars.

Oh, and there is a very good reason why he is named “Soupy”.
