Claiming to have worked for 20 years in “Corporate America”, Doswell transplant Lorna Sivstein (left, pic taken at the Ruritan bldg. Single-Purpose room) seems to have no past, despite numerous attempts by Newsfromdoswell and other Doswell residents to Google her name.
“The woman just doesn’t come up at all,” says Dixie Treat Mobile Home Court Archivist and Doswell busybody Herthel Wedig, “How does somebody work for twenty years in corporate America and have no background?”
Newsfromdoswell tried numerous times to find some snippet of information, including various versions of her last name. “She said she’s from Connecticut or some such place,” claimed the blog, “but I was up all night searching every record I could find for that state, and came up blank. Then I used up my entire monthly allotment of 5 GB and had to shut down. Now I got no internet the rest of the month, thanks to that woman. I wish she’d move back to wherever she came from.”
Other Doswell residents express similar frustrations at the woman, who lives on Narrow Path Road. “I wasted an entire Sunday looking her up,” says Teman Road resident Ralph Jolly, “and I got nothing. There were a lot of other things I could have browsed for that day, so it was a total waste.”
“Corporate America my butt,” claims Level Drive’s Lloyd Bunson, “I think she’s in witness protection. Maybe she was a mob witness or some such. A lot of people are wasting a lot of time trying to find out something about her, so she ought to just speak up and tell us where she’s from and what she did for so called ‘corporate America’.”
A town meeting is being planned sometime in the near-future to discuss the mysterious ambiguities of the single woman, who lives alone. Something just doesn’t smell right, and a lot of people are getting upset, I tell you what.
