Doswell Man Receives $2 Million from Deposed Nigerian King’s Estate

Money was deposited last Friday, says lucky recipient

The family of deposed Nigerian king Atumwa Bonwawti (supposedly pictured at left) deposited just over $2 million into the Wachovia checking account of Doswell resident Howard Wattlington, just as they promised in their email.

“I received an email from Bonwawti’s wife last month” says Wattlington, “She needed an American bank account to deposit family funds frozen by the Nigerian government.”

According to the email, the Bonwawti’s would deposit their funds into Wattlington’s account for a fee, then withdraw the funds at a later date, leaving the interest to Wattlington for his trouble and for payback for the fee – an amount totaling over $60,000.

“It was a win-win,” says Wattlington, pictured at left, “I had about $55,000 in my 401k, so I cashed it in, paid the penalties and taxes, then forwarded the remaining $15,000 to the Bonwawti family in Nigeria, along with my bank account number and my social security number, just to be on the safe side. Then on Friday, boom! My account balance is suddenly $2 million and change, just like they promised.”

Contacted in Nigeria, the Bonwawti’s say they will do this for any American bank account holder. “It’s a safe, reliable transaction with satisfaction guaranteed,” says Atumwa from his hideout. “And I anticipate having to repeat this process many times over in the coming months.”

Wattlington says people would be “foolish” to not take advantage of the Bonwawti’s offer. “All I can say is if you get an email from the family of a deposed Nigerian King you need to jump on it and do whatever they ask.”
