Luke Dubber’s “World’s Largest Cow Pie” Not what it Seems
An eyewitness has stepped forward and admitted that Doswell’s second-largest tourist attraction “Luke Dubber’s World’s Largest Cow Pie” is more truthfully “Luke Dubber’s World’s Largest Cow Pie is a whole bunch of cow pies molded together to just look like the world’s largest cow pie.”
Owner of the almost six-month-old cow pie, the sight-challenged and volatile Luke Dubber has no comment on the allegations brought against him by the eyewitness, who wants to remain anonymous. “It’s my son Clyde isn’t it?” he asks, taking a step forward in an attempt to intimidate this reporter, his one dead eye staring coldly off over into the ether while his other pierced my soul. “Clyde is going around telling folks that crap – but it ain’t true. I dare anybody to prove it otherwise."
It is not this reporter’s first encounter with the volatile Dubber. Last year Dubber confronted this reporter while working at the Doswell dump, yelling that I was holding up the line by cleaning out my car while parked at the transfer station. In fact, this reporter felt that was a perfectly appropriate time to clean out the fast food cups and lids from the car.
“Wait a minute - you’re that guy at the dump, aren’t you?” Dubber then claimed, suspiciously eyeing this reporter with his one good eye as he rolled up his sleeves. “You were cleaning out your car, making other patrons sit and wait. I saw you give me the finger as you pulled out!”
